Adaptive Fit For Virtually Any Make & Model
Our kits are engineered to be compatible with virtually every make & model vehicle manufactured before 1979. Almost all electrical components work the same across all makes & models which allows a Kwik Wire kit to adapt to your project. The electrical core of components like headlights, tail lights, gauges, starters, alternators, etc, work the same regardless if you’re building a GM or a Ford. They all need power and grounding. We engineer our kits to be adaptive to the vehicle it’s being installed which makes installation easy.

We only use the highest quality GXL coated stranded wire in all of our restoration wire harnesses. GXL wire is resistant to moisture, grease, oil, gasoline, most acids and solvents. It has a temperature rating of -59°F (-51°C) to 257°F (125°C). Stranded wire enables more flexibility in routing of the wire and offers more durability for applications where vibration and occasional movement of the wire could cause breakage of a stiffer solid wire or rigid stranded conductors.
To assist with the install, we also print the number and destination of every wire included in the kit every 4 inches the entire length of the wire. The number assigned to the circuit as well as the label are indicated in the instruction book as well, so you'll never lose track of what wire goes where!
Unique Features - The Best of the Best
All of our kits were designed from the ground up with the goal of providing a quality American Made product that was affordable to our customers. Our kits are engineered and built as a universal cut-to-fit harness that will fit in virtually every make and model restoration while ensuring a perfect fit for your vehicle every time. All of our harnesses come with a variety of features that all help make it the best kit on the market for automotive restoration. Below is a list of some of the unique features built into the design of our harnesses.
Engineered & Manufactured in the USA- Our kits were designed from the ground up and each kit includes 25+ years of experience in the industry of engineering enhancements. Our wiring kits have also been proudly manufactured in the USA since our beginning in 1991.
Machine Crimped / Hand-soldered- We take the time to machine crimp & hand-solder every single terminal in our wire harness. You won’t find another kit on the market that gives this much attention to detail & quality to every single wire harness produced.
Universal Fit- Our kits are designed to be a universal fit. The truth is that almost all components hook-up the same regardless of make. Headlights work the same as they do in Ford vehicles as the do in GM builds. Our kits have been put in just about every make and model you can think of!
Instruction Book Included- An instruction book is included with every wire harness that walks through every single wire of the install. It’s easy to use and designed for even first-timers to use!
Toll-free Tech Support- We understand that not everybody has a degree in automotive wiring, so we’re here to help you out if you run into any snags. Give us a call to talk to one of our expert tech’s. You’ll be talking right to the guys who actually make the kits in Wisconsin!
Thicker Gauge Wire- We pride ourselves by producing a quality product, and that starts with using quality materials. We use more copper in our kits than many of our competitors. This helps ensure the safety of our product and longevity for years to come.
Plenty of Wire Included- Our wiring harnesses come with plenty of wiring for your build. The kits are designed as a cut-to-fit harness to ensure a perfect fit every time. Each kit comes with 25 ft of wire to the tail group so you’ll most likely have plenty of left-overs when you’re done.
Pre-wired Horn Relay- Beep Beep! All of our kits come with a horn relay pre-wired into the kit so you don’t have to figure out how to wire it up later. The kit also comes with instructions on how to hook it up. You’ll be honking away in no time!
Full-size ATO Fuses- Some kits on the market cut corners by offering a fuse block that uses mini fuses. Mini fuses can be hard to come by when you need to replace a fuse the most. Our kits use full-size ATO fuses that you’ll be able to find at just about any gas station or hardware store.
